BOLIX N is a deep-penetrating primer designed for substrate preparation before the application of subsequent finishing layers. It is particularly suitable for absorbent, dusty and weakened substrates where strengthening and stabilisation are essential.

The product penetrates the substrate structure, reduces and evens out its absorbency, and improves the adhesion of subsequent layers, such as renders, paints, adhesives or levelling mortars. It also reduces dusting and limits the risk of staining and contamination migration from the substrate.

Application scope includes, among others:

cement, cement-lime and gypsum plasters
concrete and aerated concrete
gypsum boards and floor screeds
reinforced layers in BOLIX thermal insulation systems
surfaces before painting and wallpapering

For highly absorbent substrates, application in 2–3 layers is recommended using the “wet-on-wet” method. The product may be diluted with water for the first priming coat to facilitate deeper penetration.
