History of BOLIX

The success story of BOLIX dates back to 1991, when Erbak, a private company founded by Romuald Hałabuda, was established near Żywiec. Initially, the company provided construction services, while Romuald Hałabuda began producing renders and mortars for the needs of his own contracting activity.

The beginnings (1991): Erbak was established and started producing renders and mortars under the BOLIX brand.

Breakthrough: A decisive step in the company’s development was the introduction of a seamless thermal insulation system to its offer. This innovation had a significant impact on the company’s growth.

Development (2003): After more than a decade of intensive development, the company transformed towards mass production and market expansion.

Today: BOLIX has become one of the leading manufacturers of construction chemicals in Poland, with nearly 100 million square metres of insulated façades completed using its solutions. The company continuously develops its innovative systems, such as BOLIX systems with extended warranty, and exports its products to nearly 20 European countries.

We have been operating on the market since 1991. Today, we are a leading Polish manufacturer of construction chemicals, specialising in the production of façade systems.
