BOLIX Z is a classic adhesive mortar for bonding EPS boards in ETICS thermal insulation systems. It is intended for use on typical mineral substrates, such as concrete, masonry, cement and cement-lime plasters, where it provides stable and reliable fixing of insulation boards.

The product is suitable for standard EPS boards, graphite EPS and XPS, offering flexibility on site for different design solutions. The mortar can be applied using the strip-and-dot method, which is the most common, or the notched trowel method on even substrates – in accordance with system technology.

From the contractor’s perspective, it is important that the mortar allows for adjustment of board positioning and ensures the required adhesive coverage, with a minimum of 40% effective bonding surface. On a properly prepared substrate, it provides repeatable performance and stable fixing of the insulation.

setting time after bonding the boards: approx. 48 h
application temperature: from +5°C to +25°C

Consumption:

bonding EPS boards: ≥ 4.0 kg/m², depending on substrate evenness and application method

The product is supplied in 25 kg bags and has a shelf life of 12 months.
