BOLIX WM is a proven adhesive mortar designed for ETICS thermal insulation systems based on mineral wool. The material covers two key work stages: bonding thermal insulation boards and creating the reinforced base coat with mesh.
From the contractor’s perspective, it offers a stable consistency and good working properties, with reliable adhesion both to mineral substrates, such as concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters, and to mineral wool itself. The mortar can be applied using the strip-and-dot method or the notched trowel method, depending on the type of boards and substrate evenness.
In the reinforced base coat, it allows for an even, compact layer with a thickness of 3–5 mm, full mesh embedding and high crack resistance. The thermal conductivity coefficient λ ≤ 0.78 W/(m·K) and appropriate water vapour permeability, µ ≤ 25, support the proper performance of the entire insulation system.
Practical consumption:

reinforced base coat: ≥ 4.5 kg/m²
The product is supplied in 25 kg bags, with a pot life of approx. 1.5 h. The minimum setting time before further work is approx. 48 h.
BOLIX WM is used in complete BOLIX thermal insulation systems covered by the required reference documents, such as ETA/KOT, ensuring safe acceptance and compliance with design requirements.
It is a solution that has proven itself on construction sites for years – straightforward, predictable in application and compliant with BOLIX system technology.
