BOLIX SIG Kolor is a render primer dedicated for thin-layer silicone and silicate-silicone renders, including BOLIX SIT, SIT-P and SI-SIT. It is a typical system stage that has a real impact on the final façade effect – both in terms of adhesion and aesthetics.

Thanks to its quartz powder content, it improves substrate “grip” and facilitates even render application. At the same time, it strengthens the substrate, reduces its absorbency and limits dusting. Importantly from a practical point of view, it minimises the risk of substrate colour show-through and staining on the render coat.

Suitable for use on:

reinforced layers in ETICS systems based on EPS and mineral wool,
mineral substrates: concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters.

Application is simple and repeatable – one coat applied with a roller or brush. After drying, approx. 4 h, the render can be applied. Key point: select a primer colour similar to the render colour, especially for intense colours.
